After an absence due to the corona pandemic, Messe Berlin is finally opening its doors again for the international railway fair InnoTrans. From September 20 – 23, the global railway infrastructure market is finally able to meet in real life again.
We are thrilled to meet our relations in real life at our voestalpine stand. The theme of voestalpine Railway Systems this year is ‘optimal availability for the lowest life cycle costs’. We look forward to present to you how we aim to achieve this through the adaptation of innovative products and smart solutions, perfectly designed for our customer’s journey. We will also focus on our innovative, digital solutions, which will be presented on our software tower.
Being a part of the Competence Center Track Solutions, means that we are specialized in developing solutions and services to contribute to an integrated railway system with a long lifespan.
At the InnoTrans, we will present a few of such innovations that contribute in helping us achieve that goal. Have a look at our eNeRGy joint (NRG joint), coated or milled rails, both stationary and mobile.
How can you realize an optimal availability for the railroad tracks when insulated rail joints were among the most common assets to cause disruptions in the railway infrastructure? A common question of contractors both nationally and internationally. We present you the solution that is the NRG joint. Due to a technological update such as the insulating coating, this joint protects the tracks against external influences. Why you need the NRG joint in your railway infrastructure? Watch this video:
A special protecting coating has been the solution for expanding the lifespan of the rails in extreme circumstances for quite some time. We provide our rails with our polyurea Rubbercoat®. After many (comparing) researches, it turns out that this application is one of the best protecting techniques against corrosion due to water, salt or stray current. Would you like to get some information before entering the InnoTrans? Are you curious as to what this technique has to offer? Watch this video:
From preventive milling on rails to higher level NRG joints on lower level rails. Due to this technique, the railway infrastructure gains a longer lifespan. This applies to both heavy and light rail. Symmetrically milled rails needed for a project? This can only be done in our milling factory on our premises Crailoo in Hilversum, the Netherlands. Are you looking for a maintenance service solution for metros and subways? Then our Mobile Milling Metro solution with the MG11 is exactly what you are looking for.
Why milling? Symmetrically milling prevents the rails from getting an asymmetrical profile distortion. This way, we are able to create much safer tracks that will last longer. More information about our Rail Services can be watched in this video:
